Nat Cassidy (Bloody Captain/Young Siward) is delighted to return to ATC, where he understudied The Underpants, Over the Moon and The Fantasticks. He played the title role in Arizona Repertory Theatre’s production of Hamlet. He most recently appeared as Lord Rivers in Richard III in New York City. Other credits include Metamorphosis, Rumors, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Three Sisters, The Exiled and Vincent of Gilgamesh. He is a certified actor/combatant with The Society of American Fight Directors and graduated from the University of Arizona with a BFA in Acting in 2004.
Celeste Ciulla (Lady Macbeth) is pleased to be making her ATC debut. Some of her recent off-Broadway and regional credits include Bee-Luther-Hatchee, Hysteria and As Bees In Honey Drown at Florida Studio Theatre, The Trojan Women at The Old Globe and She Stoops to Conquer, The Tempest, The Phantom Lady and Double Infidelity at The Pearl Theatre Company. Some other favorite roles include Laura Reynolds in Tea and Sympathy, Hermione in Winter’s Tale, Beltgirl in Life with J, Roz in Moon over Buffalo and Bella in Gaslight. Ms. Ciulla is a native of New York City and a graduate of Northwestern and Harvard Universities.
Dane Corrigan (Soldier) is thrilled to be performing at ATC where he was an understudy in last season’s The Underpants. He is a student at the University of Arizona where his credits include roles in The Rivals, Hamlet, Midwives, Guys and Dolls, and Dancing at Lughnasa.
Colton Cray (Fleance) is delighted to be performing in his first professional theatre production. He recently played George in Cheaper by the Dozen, and Fezini in The Princess Bride. He got his start performing by doing original stand-up comedy routines. Mr. Cray is a seventh grade student at Desert Christian Middle School.
Deborah Fialkow (First Witch/Murderer) is happy to make her ATC debut. She was recently seen at ACT Theatre as Lady Caroline in Enchanted April, as the title character in The Woman in Black, and as part of the ensemble of the world premiere of Alki. Other credits include Rosalind in Seattle Shakespeare Company’s As You Like It, The Shakespeare Stealer and Johnny Tremain with the Seattle Children’s Theatre and Terra Nova at Tacoma Actor’s Guild. Ms. Fialkow has also been seen at The Empty Space Theatre, Open Circle Theatre, theatre simple, Consolidated Works, Aha!, and Annex Theatres.
Clay Froning (Soldier) is a junior in the acting/directing program at the University of Arizona where his credits include Midwives, Hamlet, Dancing at Lughnasa, and Metamorphoses. He recently appeared in The Thief of Frisco with the Cripple Creek Players. At Pima Community College, he appeared in Macbeth, The Philadelphia and Anything Goes.
Allen Galli (Ross) is pleased to be making his ATC debut. His favorite roles include Sancho in Man of La Mancha at the Village Theatre, Moonface Martin in Anything Goes at the 5th Avenue Theatre, and Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing at Tacoma Actors Guild. His credits include Adolph in The Last Night of Ballyhoo at Sacramento Theatre Company, as well as roles at Portland Repertory Theatre, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Dallas Shakespeare Festival, Seattle Children’s Theatre, ACT Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre and Intiman Theatre. His film and TV credits include Frasier and the short films Kansas and Tootie Pie.
David Gehrman (Lennox) is pleased to be returning to ATC where he was last seen in As You Like It. Favorite roles include: The Big Friendly Giant in Roald Dahl’s The Big Friendly Giant at Seattle Children’s Theatre, Mike in A Moon for the Misbegotten at ACT Theatre, and the singing-cowboy Guiderius in Cymbeline at Intiman Theatre. Mr. Gehrman is proud to be a founding member of the sketch comedy group Bald Faced Lie, with whom he has been writing and performing for the past 10 years.
Roberto Guajardo (Old Man, Doctor of Physic) played Mullet in last season’s world premiere of Steven Dietz’ Over the Moon. Other ATC productions include Much Ado About Nothing, Wit, As You Like It, Picasso at the Lapin Agile, The Two Gentlemen of Verona, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Shadowlands, One Crazy Day, The Tempest, You Can’t Take It With You and The Matchmaker as well as numerous staged readings and workshops. . Other regional appearances include San Jose Repertory Theatre and Seattle Repertory Theatre. Mr. Guajardo has worked extensively throughout Arizona, including performances at Invisible Theatre, Borderlands Theater, The Flagstaff Festival of the Arts, Actors Lab in Scottsdale, Arizona Jewish Theatre Company, Actors Theatre of Phoenix and Phoenix Theatre. He has made numerous appearances on TV and film.
Harris Kendall (Lady Macduff) is pleased to be making her ATC debut. Regional theatre credits include The Seagull, Waiting for Lefty, Hot L Baltimore, Sly Fox, Mary Queen of Scots, The Exact Center of the Universe, and A Streetcar Named Desire. Her TV and film credits include Days of Our Lives, Top of the Heap, and Mr. Murder. Ms. Kendall trained at Playhouse West in Los Angeles, and with Steve Anderson in Tucson.
Darragh Kennan (Malcolm) is delighted to be making his ATC debut. His regional work includes appearances at American Conservatory Theater, Guthrie Theater, Madison Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Tacoma Actors Guild, Theatre at the Center, American Players Theatre, Renaissance Theatreworks, First Stage Children’s Theatre, Montana Shakespeare in the Parks, and Capitol Hill Arts Center, where he is also an artistic associate. Favorite roles include Dudley in The Time of Your Life at American Conservatory Theater and Seattle Repertory Theatre, Ui in The Resistable Rise of Arturo Ui at Capitol Hill Arts Center, and Fool in King Lear at American Players Theatre.
Matt Loney (Macbeth) last appeared at ATC in The Threepenny Opera in 1980. A native of Douglas, AZ, he received his BFA from the University of Arizona in 1980, and has performed with Gaslight Theatre and SALOC. On Broadway, he has appeared in The Sound of Music and King Lear, starring Christopher Plummer. Off-Broadway he has appeared in Portraits, The Other Lincoln, The Wild Swans, The Fine Art of Finesse, Sublime Lives and The Expatriate, starring Julie Harris. Regionally he was Serge in Art for Whitefish Theatre Company, Sherlock Holmes in The West End Horror for Bay Street Theatre, Pato in Beauty Queen of Lenane for Repertory Theatre of St. Louis(Critics Choice Award), and appeared in Macbeth, Dinner with Friends, Guys and Dolls, Arcadia, and Tale of Two Cities for Pioneer Theatre Company. Mr. Loney also played Edgar in Tadashi Suzuki’s The Tale of King Lear at Arena Stage, Berkeley Repertory Theatre and in Tokyo, Japan. He was a resident company member with Milwaukee Repertory Theater and Stage West. Film and television credits include Paradise Plains, Hoorah for Mr. Touchdown, Law & Order, Another World, As the World Turns and One Life to Live.
Maren MacLean (Third Witch) is performing at ATC for the first time. Recent credits include Twelfth Night for Southwest Shakespeare Company, Private Lives for Phoenix Theatre, Taming of the Shrew for Shakespeare Sedona, Dinner with Friends for Actors Theatre and Scout Sky at St. Jon’s Verandah. She has performed at The Utah Shakespearean Festival, Birmingham Children’s Theatre, Verse Theatre Manhattan, Expanded Arts and Nevada Shakespeare in the Park. Ms. Maclean is the education outreach director for Southwest Shakespeare Company and serves on the Actors’ Equity Liaison Committee of Phoenix and Tucson.
Brian Keith Russell (Banquo) is pleased to be working at ATC for the first time. Some of his regional credits include The Comedy of Errors, Arms and the Man, Julius Caesar, The Seagull and Twelfth Night for the California Shakespeare Theater, The Beard of Avon, Glengarry Glen Ross, Edward II, The Invention of Love, Three Penny Opera and Indian Ink, for the American Conservatory Theater, Ghosts and The Beaux Strategem at Berkeley Repertory Theatre, Picasso at the Lapin Agile at Theater on the Square, Desire Under the Elms and The Elephant Man for San Jose Repertory Theatre, Soul of a Whore and Santos y Santos for Campo Santo, Epiphanies, Mrs. Dalloway’s Party, and The Love Nest for Word for Word. Mr. Russell received a Goldie Award from the S.F. Bay Guardian, Actor of the Year from the EastBay Express and he is also the recipient of two Dean Goodman Choice Awards.
Michael Santo (Duncan) returns to ATC, where he appeared as Matt in Talley’s Folly, Frank in How the Other Half Loves, Pickering in My Fair Lady and Einstein in Picasso at the Lapin Agile. He most recently appeared in the title role in Cyrano de Bergerac with Marin Shakespeare Company, Oliver in Pentecost at The Old Globe, Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing at The Shakespeare Theatre. He has performed with California Shakespeare Festival, San Jose Repertory Theatre, Magic Theatre, Aurora Theatre and American Conservatory Theater. Other theatres include Mark Taper Forum, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, Portland Repertory Theatre, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Intiman Theatre, The Empty Space Theatre, Alaska Repertory Theatre, ACT Theatre, The Cleveland Play House and Portland Stage Company.
Christen Simon (Second Witch) is happy to be making her ATC debut. She was recently seen in The Violet Hour at Dallas Theater Center. Her off-Broadway credits include The Taming of the Shrew, American Dreams Lost & Found and Puddin’head Wilson. Regionally she has been seen at Long Wharf Theatre, Hartford Stage Company, The Arvada Center, Greenwich House Theater and at the Denver Center Theatre Company in Tantalus, where she worked with Sir Peter Hall. Her film and TV credits include Starship Troopers, Law & Order: SVU, and Lifetime’s In the Name of Love. Ms. Simon is a graduate of The National Theater Conservatory.
Thomas Thornburn (Son of Macduff) is excited to be making his ATC debut. He recently appeared in Valley Youth Theatre Playmakers Performance Troupe’s production of The Orphan Train. His other credits include The Velveteen Rabbit, The Princess Who Never Cried, I Believe In Make Believe and Chrysanthemum. He is a third grader at Summit School of Ahwatukee in Phoenix.
Richard Trujillo (Macduff) recently appeared in For Better or Worse at ATC and prior to that in She Stoops to Conquer in 1991. His recent credits include Culture Clash’s Bordertown and John Leguizamo’s Spic-O-Rama for Actors Theatre, As You Like It and A Comedy of Errors for Southwest Shakespeare Company and The Complete Works of Shakespeare - Abridged for the Fulton Opera House. Mr. Trujillo is currently the Fine Arts Chair and Drama Teacher at Herrera School for the Fine Arts in the Phoenix Elementary School District. He is also a contributing arts writer for Latino Perspectives Magazine.
